Hi forum,

I have a 500L tank in a metal frame that I need fitting to a Peugeot Expert van in the South London / Surrey. I was wondering if any of you guys have any recommendations / suggestions of where I can get this done? Thanks!

Please note; I have never done this; so am not talking from personal experience.

However; I believe (and I may be wrong; I often am;) that the principles for completing this job are as follows are as follow.

1. Get a metal fabricator to make up some plates
2. Secure plates to chassis
3. Drill into the plates using 12mm bolts

A local garage may help with the above.

Other folk have drilled 12mm eyebolts into the chassis and then used ratchet straps to hold the tank down...

Omnipole are in the Woodside Green area of South London.  They fitted a tank in the back of my van ten years ago and it hasn't moved since (the tank - not the van ).

Thank you both for your input. Have emailed Omnipole, and will get in touch with some metal fabricators. What size plates would anyone suggest i get made up?
