I went from a 22 SLX to a 25 extreme and I think it's worth it. I've got elbow problems and it's noticeably different to use, especially going over connies etc. It doesn't feel quite as robust as the SLX but just don't abuse it. At home I use dewalt drills etc and I don't abuse those either! If you're a big strong lad then the SLX is good. If you feel you have a reason to buy it then you won't be disappointed. I do actually think you can work quicker with it.
Tbh its the biggest jump i think.CLX TO SLX on the smaller sizes you don't really notice the weight. Only the whip/bend/control.SLX 18 to extreme 18 Big difference.Been using a 30ft extreme all day today and forgot it wasn't the 18 !I keep mine a year now and just flog em. Cheap as chips to throw away really considering what they earn you!

Jonboy does say no Slx takes the abuse and is well light enough
So does a Extreame wear quickly then on domestics , you would expect 2 years use for that price . Pure freedom are doing a new pole soon , the clamps are suppose to be amazing
I luv 'em. Latest ones have a metal collar to slow down wear. They don't wear out completely all in one go anyway - top section wears the quickest followed by the number two section. It's quite feasible to simply replace the worn sections one at a time.Extreme pole, extreme brush - the best combination for lightness.

I used to use extreme brushes but now it's all sill brushes. They do a fantastic job.
