New yellow pole hose came today,, it seems a bit stiff to me,
It's listed as pole hose on ebay but it's not that flexible .5.5mm

as far as pole hose goes there are some really bad stuff out there,
I have used
gardiner all season, pretty good not perfect, but will seem amazing compared to the other brands
aqaudapter orange or red, both pretty tangly and stiff, however are very durable, better suited to warm water I think
black facelift pole hose, the best I have used so far, very nice and flexable
the best one I ever had was streamline but I have never seen it since

To me it seems to be about getting the balance right. I normally use Gardiner yellow pole hose with those black JG style fittings.
To stiff and the hose is a pain to work with but stays put inside the fitting. Too soft and it's very workable but pops out of the fitting sometimes; the latter can be resolved with the appropriate barb fittings.
I tend to work with external hose. Although it gets in the way more, it saves on having to pull the pole apart as much to clean it inside.
