Went to do some windows today but pump wouldn't work ,my flow meter keeps saying a dead end is detected but there doesn't appear to be any ,so i bypassed the pump controller and the pump started working only thing is you use a lot of water ,any ideas on how to cure the problem

you should change the way you clean, clean faster much less of a rinse on a high flow rinse and clean together and you wont use any more water,
imo controllers are always going wrong and I did waya with them a long time ago.

more flow, better quicker more reliable results

You have a controller problem not a pump problem, and I agree with what Michael says above.

The pump controller is fairly new only a couple of months old .

If you don't use a flow controller will this Damage pump eventually?

No but you need to make sure the pressure screw is set properly and the pump is not cycling in use.

It should still be under guarantee though if the controller is faulty.

There should be instructions with it but...


Positive and negative wire from the van battery to the split charger (fuse on the positive wire as close to the battery as posssible)


Positive wire from the split charger to the leisure battery (fuse next to the leisure battery)
Earth the leisure battery to the van

The instructions should tell you which port is which

I know you don't like digital poleking but you can't go wrong with this.
The inbuilt relay is also easy to wire up with clear instructions and works perfectly.
You can see the battery charging on the display so your always assured it's doing its job.

There are but they make no sense to me.
Have a look a the picture of it. It's got 12v, 12v, 6v, 4v, 2v, 0v ports in a row.
It's also saying ground the negative rather than return to negative on a battery.

Oops yes it's the £90 one. Had mine over a year now and not one problem and have never had to charge my battery.

To be honest, i cant make head nor tail of your post mate...if you can, post a pic of the diagram.

But i'm pretty sure mines wired up as my post above and alls been good...

Is it easy to install?

Average 300-400 litres a day.  3 days a week I'm local within a 5 mile radius, 2 days a week I work in another town which is about 10 miles away.
There was one occasion where I had the dreaded low battery indicator flashing so I kept the van running pretty much all day and it was nearly fully charged by the end of the day.

Yes it was very easy to install. Like you I originally got one off fleabay that had terrible instructions and the relay itself wasnt charging the battery quick enough.
The pure freedom one has very simple instructions, took me an hour to fit and charges 0.1 volts every minute or so.

Mrs has got the Mac atm, I'll try tomorrow.
It's exactly as I posted (that's why I'm confused)
Loads of ports (can't think of a better word but where you can poke a wire in) and they are marked as I posted...
Have a look at the pic on eBay of the unit, it makes no sense to me...
