My Tds is 75
I think Soupy might be best to advise you; he lives in a soft water area and uses DI only.  Or is it another member?  I can't remember.  It's my age.
DI has it's advantages; you can just fill up from a tap into the van's tank, and pump the water through your pole via a DI.  So any tap will do you.  You could also travel some distance to a job empty, and fill up at the job (less wear 'n' tear on the van).
Since I use a RO/DI, I have to make it into a 1000 litre tank in the garden, and then transfer it from that tank into my van.
How much water do you use a day?  If it's a lot, you may be best going RO/DI.  If you're new to window cleaning and not got many customers, you might find DI only is the best way to start and go RO/DI later.
Hopefully Soupy will give some firmer advice.
