Can you please help me i need order a new barb fitting for the new microbore hose im ordering but im not 100% sure what thread size is.

Is the barb in the pictue a 3/4 thread im not sure how inch thread sizes work

Thread sizes are not very easy to work out 

Looking at the size of this one it is almost definitely an 1/2" thread.
