If someone wanted your van they can get it if someone can get a top of the range rover they can get you van.
It's only the keyless entry/go that can be hacked on RR's.
My van has the blip per to open it (like most vans I'd assume) so that could be hacked reasonably easily I'd assume.
Getting the van to start without the key would be another matter.
True for less than £5 you can make your van pretty much safe from being driven away
Plenty of measures to put in yourself.
On my escort rs turbo i had a removable steering wheel. I used to remove the wheel then chain it in the rear of the boot. On a private air strip i overtook god knows how many cars and was waving it at my mates out the window doing a good 80-90mph in a convoy. Looking back now, i would have punched myself in the face.
