What MPG are you all getting from your customs? I was told they were very thirsty which made me go for something smaller.

Got a custom, had it 6 months.

Have to say i love it. Just waiting on a new connect now and i think that will be just as nice tbh (inside cab and to drive)

Only gripes are i wish i went for LWB and the biggest engine.

I am having it remapped in scotland and the chap has said it will be identical to the top engine. Only difference on my engine vs biggest IS the mapping

Anywhere between 25mpg and 30mpg depending on what load i carry.

Average is 27mpg.

TBH mpg doesn't interest me at all. I fell in love with how it drove.

Test drove a bi turbo VWT5 but it meant a fair wack on finance and thought %*%$&((( that!

Don't like the custom. I have lwb mk7 and its better MPG.Better on the butt as the seats are rock hard on custom. Suspension is really soft. It bottomed out on a few country roads doing 40. It does drive over bumps much better

290 downwards and the suspension is pants. 310 upwards and its great to drive.

Never noticed a soft ride in my custom. My lad drove me home when i was pished and it was a great ride in the passenger seat. I think 3 in the cab would be "too" comfy.

27mpg  :o That is thirsty. At ~18-20k miles per year that's a lot of £ difference to the 49mpg that my berlingo is doing.

Ah i only do 8k if that. When i move closer to my rounds, i would imagine 3-5k a year.

Combo used to do 45mpg. But i couldn't earn £500 in a day out of my combo ;)

It costs me about £80 for a tank of petrol nowadays but I get nearly 600 miles out of that in my 290 custom

I drive sensibly though

I have a new Custom coming in March, Pure h20 put me onto nationwidecars and it saved me £1500 on what a dealership could do.

Look at the torque stats.

You'll be using the crawler lane with anymore weight on than just a full tank of diesel and a big pack up.
