good video, dog ear all my new channels now loads better. what a waste of 30quid the ninja blade was, used mine one day at work in the back of a cupboard  now, leaves far too much behind compared to a normal steel blade!

Yep, amazing isn't it, a 'top of the range squeegee' is actually the worst!

yep! so much hype when it came out aswel, i just think its good on some types of windows but not others with chunky frames or big seals at the edge. when you dog ear a channel it saves loads of time, but i seem to burnnnn through rubber lol.   every know and then i dig the ninja out for a day and by the end of the day its back in the cupboard haha.

I know there is a manufacturer working on a new channel as we speak, it's going to be a dog eared squeegee basically pre done. Shouldn't be long before it's released, it's the 'polz n bladz' guy on YouTube that has collaborated with a company to make a dog eared squeegee.

So it's just a 1cm cut into the metal channel . Then bend it up a tad .

i dont cut into the corners i just bend them with pliers, if u cut it theres a chance you could weaken the corner and it bend off etc

Red rubber is amazing, lasts ages and ages with no nicks.

Reason I made the split is for an easier bending and fine tuning, plus I also slightly pull the dog ear outwards as well so it's nearer the tip of the rubber edge.

It won't bend out if shape unless you really pushed hard, I mean very hard.

Kempy, yeah just a little 3/4 cm split and some pliers, simple and so effective, I'd known about it for years and never done it, thinking its just a fad, but when I tried it, I couldn't believe the difference!

No you don't have to, however if you do you have easier adjustment and as I said can also bend the channel towards the leading edge of the rubber a bit as well, which also helps.
