I drilled a small hole in mine , all the water drains out then  ::)roll

It's for holding your tools mate. It's called bucket on a belt, but it's not really designed to act as a bucket full of water. I use one all day, and never get a wet leg. I also use a bottle on the side of the ladders for keeping  the mop wet. 250 mil bottle will be enough to keep the mop wet enough for at least 4 3 bed semi's.

So, unless you're walking around with about 2 pints of solution in your BOAB, I can't see what the cause is  ???

Don't drill the hole.

You'll just get wet further down your leg.

Never use them, I find them annoying, always in the way, always wet, alway get caught on things, jumping kver gates is a mare with them, plus taking it on and off is annoying when getting back in van, I just hold the squeegee and applicator like a real man...  None of these silly gadgets swinging around my legs ::)roll

Dont put water in it just wet dolly and put in bucket its for carrying your tools not water.

never put water in it gets water coming off applicator then think it gets half full then I drop applicator in it splashes out never been as bad as this in last 10 years maybe I should put it in instead of drop

dont put too much water in it and wear waterproof trousers.i wear ski pants in this weather anyway!warm and dry. :)

That's a good idea about the ski pants Daz.

Adopted that idea last winter.

Won't be out til about 11am today 1c then temperature doubles at 2pm ;D

Its when I put applicator in bob it scrapes off water from wet applicator where handle goes for left handed people have glued a bit of wood on to see what happens tomorrow then buy different type of bob or do something better at weekend

If you have a groove in both sides  of the BOAB where the applicator sits, block the front side off with some plastic
It worked for me

I remember a very old tip from years back
Someone cut a gap in a pouch- where the belt goes through- big enough for the BoaB loop and it sat on top of a pouch.
It seems like a ballache to me but I could see it keeping your leg dry.

I remember someone gluing some lino (or similar) to the back of a BoaB.
The water would run down that and not get your trousers wet.
