Hi all just fitting new tank in van had some metal fixings made to go over tank and bolt through floor its a 800 litre tank should the tank be pushed against the bulk head any advice will be helpful as I want to be safe thanks andy

If it is an upright tank having it against the bulkhead may overload the front axle.

I would mount it slightly forward of the rear axle for best load distribution as that's huge weight to carry.
Are you sure you need such a big tank?

all my vans have the tank set just before the rear wheels, this gives you a nice working space when you open the side doors, not a face full of tank, usually store pressure washer and gutter vac here, but I'd only do this if the tank is bolted to the floor AND you have a steel bulkhead. Otherwise I'd have it tight behind the seats so it can't gather any forward momentum.
