Working Xmas Day?
« on: December 24, 2014, 05:04:52 pm »
So tomorrow I thought I'd give my customers a lie-in and start at 9 am. (their kids or grandkids will be up won't they?)

I've got three million pound houses with electric gates to do so I've just texted them to make sure they're open and if I do one every couple of hours I'll get mince pies and a tip about 11 o'clock at the first, then at the next about 1 o'clock I'll get a tester plate of Xmas Turkey and a tip - maybe a glass or two of wine.

And then about 3 o'clock I can watch the Queen through the lounge window (may all who sail in her have world peace and unity) and get handed plum duff, cheese platter and port and a yet another tip.

I always wear my Santa hat so that if they ask me to join them at the table I won't look out of place and I might pick up a few new customers from their family too.

It's a game of three halves!

Christmas Day won't stand in the way of the dash for the cash. If any custies don't like it, they're dumped.

I've 37 town houses, 6 mansions, 3 conservatories, 2 sofits and a kids house in a pair tree.

Should be done by 1pm at the latest.

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I had an e-mail at 8:55 this morning about work!  ;D ;D

I actually don't mind at all though - I'm doing nothing only playing on the computer & having a lazy day with family anyway, so answering an e-mail or two doesn't hurt,... thats as far as it goes today though,.. the kids are up now & its family time. :)

Just got back in!! Brilliant day, used my new Extreme pole fromGardiners my favourite company of all time. Picked up hundreds in tips - a record day in fact!
Used another ml of Froff - I'm amazed at this stuff I really am, abovery *friendly* personely fantastic. Loads of customers were impressed with the foam and loved the winter scenes I made of their gardens. The brush glides so well on the glass that a couple of times I fell over.

Anyway Saddos, happy Christmas  ;D

I have just received a text from a customer who is one of the guvnors of the local college telling me I have the contract and to speak to head of estates in the new year :) Nice start to the new year!

That type of text can come through anytime.

Well I worked Saturday 27th and will be hard at work tomorrow and next week (so long as I'm not too delayed by frost first thing.
I have a van on hire so don't want it sitting idle any longer than it has to.  It's quite a big dent in profits - especially as I'm having to backpack it which means I get through less work.
Just wish the garage would stop dragging their heels and give me a repair quote so I can make a decision on whether to repair or to use it as part deposit on the next van.
At least I'm using less water :) .
