Had my first complaint of this kind today from a customer who has old fashioned sash windows. Apparantly since i moved over to wfp there has been paint coming off the some of the windows which may well be the case as the bottom window looked as though paint had come off. They were just freshly painted in the summer they said.
To be honest though i'm going to get rid anyway as been doing them 8 years for a very reasonable £13(semi detached about 12/13 windows and they nearly dumped me about 3 years ago as they said someone had offered to do for a tenner so i matched the price. I put the price up last month to £12(still cheaper than original price) and then when she paid me in change i realised it was only £11 he paid.
I want to write a letter saying i no longer want to do them as don't want to be further accused of more potential paint damage.. how would you word it? I know some wouldn't bother writing a letter but i would as it's longterm customers....
Also i want to dump another with back access probs(been doing for 7 years)previously trad i used to climb over the garage with the ladder, now wfp it has been nothing but hassle trying to catch them in (as you have to go through garage)and i've had abit of rudeness from them in recent times..
Any ideas on letters for both cases? Or how i can word it? I want to give them the respect of at least letting them know i'm no longer coming as it's too much hassle etc etc
