builders Clean Quote
« on: April 13, 2006, 06:56:48 pm »
I have been cleaning carpets & upholstery for a while now and have ventured into contract cleaning which I hope to develop but I have been asked to quote for a Builders Clean (pre-handover) for 90 houses. They are 4 b/room with 1 ensuite. What is the best way to go about pricing this and are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? Thanks in advance,

Regards,

If you are moving into the construction industry go onto the CITB website to get some info - we have recently been asked to have CSCS cards.

Also with builders allow time for hold ups and their snagging!  It can be very irratating to have a joiner 'pop' back into to put on a cabinet door and leave a mess.  You shouldn't have to clean up after them - but at the end of the day the customer just wants the job done.

Make sure your risk assessments and COSHH details are all in place - and ask if your staff have to have a site induction - all takes time whcih you need to account for.

small snippets -but I hope it may help
