im also planning on getting a new laptop in the new year as my acer aspire is 5 years old now and is getting a little tired!

and is it easy to import my round from george so i dont have to input each job manually?

also is it easy to send invoices by email to commercial customers for example?

Mobile app is great - load it up with your worksheets (takes seconds) then you have all your jobs for the day and debt list on you. Tick them off during your break if you like.

No software to install (cloud based) Yes to the app. Would be great on a note

Don't know but you can monthly on credit card

Very very easy. Raises the invoice, then send its.

OR ...you could download Solacalendar on to your phone and put your work on to Google calendar on your pc, they sync up together and you have your work on your phone / thingy.......And its all free

cheers fellas.the main reason i want to switch is my pda is playing up a bit which has been been great for a year or so and at the moment its a bit of a pain sending invoices by email using george.

i much prefer sending invoices by email.saves printing them.sometimes the paper ones get lost and then i get paid even later!

also the samsung galaxy note 3 comes with a stylus with a fantastic large screen which i think would be great with a mobile app.

what about backing up work?do you back it up to the cloud?is it easy to retrieve your work if your phone/laptop dies?

You can retrieve it from any computer with an internet connection.

Hi Dazmond - I'm a tad biased of course but it sounds like taking Cleaner Planner for a spin would definitely be a smart move for you.

If you're used to using the PDA with George you'll find CP works in a similar way. You download your worksheet(s) at the start of the day, work offline during the day and upload when you get back in. On the Samsung you won't need 3/4G just wifi in the morning/evening as the app works 100% offline during the day.

Email invoicing is fully integrated into CP, you don't need to leave the software, if you have a business email address then we hook that up directly to CP so you can email PDF invoices (with your logo) directly from CP, no need to export the file attach it to an email, type in the customer's email address etc etc = big time saver.

Backing up - I backup your database hourly but for your own peace of mind you can also download a ZIP file of your entire account (e.g. to put on a USB stick) whenever you want, and if you go for the Pro package you can backup your entire account across to Dropbox with a single click! That way it's backed up to your own cloud space and sync'd down to your PC/Mac as well. In short - if your phone or laptop dies it will have zero impact.

Click the job is done. Click raise invoice. Check it's correct (will be). Send. DONE.

Yeah you can add loads like bank details. Notes etc etc.

It's great. I hated email invoices. Even though I do very little that require an invoice.

Nothing worse than email back saying no attachment lol

+1, bought a refurbished air in the states last month, great little machine. They'll probably get cheaper too as Apple rumoured to launch a new air next year.
