Has anyone got any views/experience on this model as regards to a first machine, 130psi, 50ft hose, 2x3 vacuum and inline heater for £1325+ Spec wise it seems much better than others in the same price bracket but this isn't always a good thing.

Andy it was mt first machine many years ago.
They are excellent value for the money and will last if looked after.Be sure to buy a inline heater for it as it makes a big difference and costs around £300.

Paul, how much hose did you run with it? looking at the upgrades and it can run up to 50ft.

Were there any problems with it, reading the description the element and motor are both accessable, did this make it easier to repair yourself if need be??

Have you used many other machines, just wondering how the 5020 compares

woodbridge are selling a machine called the mytee for the same price
2-3stage vacs pulling through each other
and i think the pump is 500psi its definatly a lot more than 130psi
and im sure its got a heater as well

it looks good as well, and its got very big stair climbing wheels

dont think you will find better spec in that price bracket

it splits it two and can be carried up stairs dead easy, had one for many years as trained with a craftex distributer, there was a problem 8 years ago with the vac tanks but had mine replaced under warrenty no probs.

Ive had this machine for a few years now and mainly used it as a back-up, its been a smashing machine for me, will be putting mine on ebay soon as ive gone over to the cfr system now so watch this space

ive had 1 for few years 2 very good machine for price only bad point for me is the wand its quite poor so i bought a new 1 for £150 from usa, i would reccomend it,weve got prochem machines too and there isnt much difference except the cost.

Im running 50ft of Hose with mine & find a great machine.  I also have a steempro but prefer the grace to be honest.

I did try and find a link to it but its not on there website www.wcsuk.com i would give them a ring though to enquire about spec as i'm sure it is better than the machine you are looking at and as i say it does look the part.

i think its meant to be about £1600 but i was there the other day and they had one marked down to £1350 it does look a well thought out design and im sure it has 500psi a heater and 2X3stage vacs in sequence

I've used to own a Mytee. A few things used to really tick me off about it. The cooling fan is situated at the front of the machine below the clean water tank access. Whatever is spilt (which will happen because the hole is small and awkward) falls down the front of the machine and is sucked in by the fan and sprayed all over the inner workings. Then there's the handles, if you choose to wrap your cords round them as is common then you are left with the very ends to hold onto to get up and down stairs. The wheel span and wheel base are cumbersome in small area's and the clean water tank had no bracing so with the hot water it formed a bowl at the bottom instead of being flat. The wheel size is great for stairs but was prone to going flat and riding on the rims.
This was a few years ago so maybe some of the issues have been corrected. But I the fan and handles haven't changed.

great value, get the heater aswell, did have to get a new pump for mine after just a short time but i think this was my fault for letting run dry a couple of times when starting out, otherwise very pleased

o.k. so if the wand is poor what wand would you recommend to go with it, Also what is the quality of the hand tool, and can it be used for both upholstery and/or stairs, if not any recommendations of quality tools.

Is the grace suitable for upholstery?

I think its a very good machine for carpet and upholstery, hand tool will get you started as for wand i find works very well just have to replace jets regular. When i got mine i just looked at it this way, it was over 500 pound cheaper than prochem is sturdy and pro looking the rest is up to you
