Employee payment plan
« on: October 19, 2014, 02:34:49 pm »
Hi all

Hopefully going to be sending 2employees out on there own while I get second van on road in coming months. My question is what's a good payment plan that others use on here that will encourage them to good job and hit targets??

Thanks Wayne

After suitable training and probation period they are given a decent rate of pay, 12 wky bonus ( to get this no more than 3 customer complaints - no more than 1 days sick no lateness )

To get past probation they need to be constantly hitting the days targets with no snags

How long do you train them for Darren and what does that entail? Was thinking of standing over them for a week or 2 before letting them on there own.

2 week trial to start to see how they get to grips with hours, weather, equipment etc..

This entails an induction course including COSHH, working at height first aid stuff

Out on the windows is a few hours talking technique and practising on some windows ( usually mine ) then out on the road, I like them to get cleaning ASAP so after they have seen a house or two off they go, usually watch, guide and help over the next few days then they do some backs, then over the two weeks complete houses under supervision.

If all is good they go on a 12 wk probation during this time they work with a leading hand honing the cleaning technique and time on the glass from there they will be good enough to do this and drive the van,
