« on: October 14, 2014, 05:34:54 pm »
So tomorrow iv'e got a custy with a tiny amount of lead strip peeling away from glass. I said i'd repair it for her. So what kind of glue would you all recommend?

Many thanks

Superglue with activator.

Hopefully it will look alright, whenever I've seen it peel off it stretches and goes out of shape, when I've repaired these I replace the section or strip with a new piece

You can buy lead on a roll from Argos which you peel off the paper as it as a sticky back so no glue required. Think a roll or it is only around £6

I bought some all purpose glue and stuck it back on in the end!

Thanks
