I have been asked to clean a restaurants sealed chinese slate floor.
The area is covered in thick grease and has heavy foot traffic all day.
I have a scrub wand with bristles attached and was thinking of using enz all from chemspec as a pre spray then rinsing with wand.
Will this be OK or is there another solution.

If you don't normally do hard floors then don't be afraid to walk away!
Sounds like a potentially difficult one. Find out first of all what it's sealed with, as you may need to put the finish back on. (Chances are they won't know)
I'd normally do this sort of thing with a slow speed heavy rotary with scrubbing brush, wet vac the slurry and loads of rinsing, but this could remove original seal.
Sounds as if you might be using a carpet rig- not sure that would work unless you can get seriously high water temp. Also watch for leaving bits of your wand on the high spots.

you need a rotary scrubber for this job the slate should have been treated with a penetrting seal & finished with a top seal on installation. you will need to replace the top seal as if it has not already be worn away cleaning will certainly remove it. Lithofin & Hagesan make products specific for slate

Customer is going to re seal after clean. He is worried after visit by Health and Safety and just requires grease removing. I am using truckmount with 240 degrees available and 3000 psi.
