just use a 2 pin shaver adaptor from any electrical shopabout £1.50, it fits flat and round pins, thats what I used. the fuse is 3amp worth carrying some spares.

ok , cheers guys.
Yeah I cant wait to get out! Ive got it all set up now, ready to go, except no power!!! :(
It says on the instructions to charge it for 24hours first of all. Do you think this is important? or will about 18 20 hours be ok? ???

Hi,

I used a shaver plug, the guy in the shop just changed the fuse"to what I don't know" & charged for 24 hours but have not used it yet.

ive bought an adapter now, just got in and put it on charge.
The only problem i have is the shurflo backpack battery uses a 3amp fuse, but i cant find one anywhere!!! So i now have a 5amp fuse in its place. Will this work? Or will I nacker the battery. ???

And will it matter if the first charge is only for about 18 hours? instead of 24? ??? ???

would be better to use a 3 amp if thats what it should be! cant be bothered to explain at mo, busy! not window cleaning though! as for charge time i think it conditions the battery, if not charged full 24hr may lose charge quicker, dont thionk it wiil damage it though

but who am i to say this

I charged it for about 18 hours and it worked fine all day.
Then when i got home i put it straight into the charger and left it all night.
The battery didnt show any signs of wearing down.
