KS Cleaning Or santander Business Acc Holders
« on: September 30, 2014, 07:25:13 am »
Signed up for a new account. I am ONLY going to use it for cheques.

Struggling to find how you actually pay them in.

Is it via the post office? Or Via a hole in the wall?

Finding conflicting information.

Thanks

Just take them to the post office and say can i pay these into my santander account, they will give you an envelope to put the cheques in and seal then give it them back and they'll post it for you  ;D

Awesome. Cheers for that.

I will make sure that I recorded all checks on a separate form tho.

Yep you can do either, I have a Santander branch a few miles from me so find it easier using the hole in the wall, just put all the cheques in 1 envelope then key in the total amount, no need to write down account number or anything on envelope. If you prefer you can also go into the branch and the machine will scan the cheques for you.

main santander branches will have a different style of cash machines inside that allow you to pay single cheques or cash etc in at a time (looks more like a computer style one) these were originally ment for business customers when they made the change to not allowing them to use the kiosks...
in general if they are not in the machine by 2-3pm they will not be processed, its a pain and does take an extra day but they dont charge for any transactions. Well they at least dont on my account  ;D
