Leaking R.O booster pump
« on: September 29, 2014, 05:11:48 pm »
So i've just noticed my booster pump for my r.o is leaking from a metal to metal housing. Does anyone know if it can be repaired before i buy a replacement? I've just phoned "Varitech Systems" and a replacment is gonna cost £177.19 (inc vat and P&P)

Many thanks

My Aquatech 8800 booster was dripping, I got the Alan key tighten it but was no good it still leaked so bought a new one. Probably could if taken it apart and sealed it with mastic maybe but just bought a new one as the other one was about 7 years + old.

Might be worth trying some LSX leak sealer on it?
