when are you guys fitting your hot system?

im doing mine this weekend ready for winter. ;)

ill be changing my hose reels and hose from claber reel and 100m of standard microbore to redashe reel and 90m of thermobore plus,fitting L5 and 13kg gas bottle.

ive gotta a fair few add on jobs booked in next month so hot water should help a bit. :)
price higher/work harder!

yeah mate.stiff bristle sill,SL and extreme brushes with hot water. ;)

Depends where you live. Few years back we had 8 weeks of -4 during the day.

Mayb your loaded and can afford 2 months off though. :)

I still wouldn't get much work done in those temps, lots of my customers
have drives where you cant salt or grit and I would be leaving them
a real hazard.

That's what my winter fund is for :)

maybe your right mate but it adds a bit of comfort during the winter months(supple hoses,warms the hands etc) and if the weather turns really cold we ll still be working down to around -4! ;)

it costs me around £50 a month to use hot water every day throughout winter.i can live with that!it defo dissolves dirt a bit quicker and extra cleaning power on add on work. ;D

when my lpg heater comes from hong kong!
gonna fit an outside plug on the front of the house too and get myself a radiator from argos to kep the van toasty in the night.

Wont be much use if we get the same weather as last winter.
Agree with Gary to dangerous to be leaving an ice hazard in the minus temps.

I aint loaded but still managed to work with a cold water system through ruff winters been wfp for over 6 years now . Mike

Daz does have the advantage of having copious amounts of hot air on tap though.

me too, but I am fortunate to live on the south coast so its rare for it to be an issue, some mornings can be icey, but with a bit of planning I work around them. The bigger concern is snow and then hot water would make no difference, ungritted side roads is what keeps my van at home.
