I've just bought a slx 30 ft for most of our high work 3 storeys ect also bought 2 slx 18 fts
I would recommend the slx 18 foot for every day use reaches over porches & conservatorys. But doesn't reach 3 rd storey windows it is so light

for me i only need 2 poles

extreme 25  (everyday pole)

extreme 47 (higher level work)

an 18 or 22 is just too short for a fair few windows of my everyday work.

i do have an emergency 22 slx but never had to use it yet since i bought the extremes! ;D

How old is your extreme daz? I think me and you are similar in that were sole traders and look after our equipment etc, but if the extremes wear out too quickly it might put me off.

As long as I can get three years out of it I'd be happy.

14 months old my 25 ft extreme.plenty of life left in it yet!used all day everyday.ill be happy to get 2 years out of it to be honest.

ive heard the new extremes have metal bits on the clamping points which will help with wear.i use carpet tape! ;D

my extreme 47 will last years as it only gets used around 10 times a month.

still worth the money IMO just for the ease of use! ;)
price higher/work harder!
