« on: September 17, 2014, 08:32:57 am »
Morning guys just been reading some threads and found out you need a license to be a window cleaner! Never knew that. I don't clean windows but mainly drives however I've started advertising s/g/f and conservatory roofs, do I need a licence to clean these.

yes , give the council more money for a little badge,

im all for it though,       it will slowly get rid of some who are not declaring it as self employment

they will then make more money off you by making you do courses thought up by them to sting you more,

i used to be a taxi driver but gave it up,     every year prices and other items you needed  went up in price.

but you had to have them.

The council can't be making a profit on window cleaning licenses, they aren't charging enough and there is too much effort involved in the application process.

if you think it is gonna get rid of con men, benefit cheats n  wide boys  then  you are way off the mark. it is a tax n nothing else trust me.
in 6/7 years i have probs been asked about 3 times. It is a load of nonsense.
