I always tell custys face to face about increases and such . But I have quite a few I don't ever see . I'm just needing a short letter to post next time I clean them . Letting them know of a frequency change , 4 weeks to 8 weeks and also a price increase . What's the best way to word it . Cheers barry

Could you not make the round work over 6 weeks instead, its a softer blow for the custard

You may lose some customers doing that but the price increase should cover it.

Why the change? Too much work?

Im sure you prob thought about this but may come across to some customers as less cleaning for more money ??

Tony 6 weeks wouldn't work with me. 75% of my work is 4 weekly . The rest is 8 weekly , which are compacted with the 4 weeks .so it all fits in wel . But some streets are turning more 8 week so when they are not due it seems a bit silly to leave the. Handful of custys on 4 week .so I am just wanting to target a couple of areas at first and compact it back up with them all on 8 week cleans at a better price .and yes I do have plenty of work so it will give cut me a bit of slack . The last 2 years I haven't give any new custys a frequency choice .i just told them 8 weeks and the price . All seem happy with that .

Due to business reasons I will now be cleaning your windows every 8 weeks from the (  /  /  ).
The effectiveness of the wfp system I use means this will benefit both you, the customer, and myself. I can continue to offer an excellent service, despite being increasingly in demand, and you will save money, even allowing for a price increase of £.p
Your windows staying cleaner for longer means that you require fewer cleans, so it will cost you less for a bit of Barry/quality service.

Dear customer,

Due to my increased workload I've decided I want to be making more money and working less hours.

So henceforth Im going to clean your windows on a 8 weekly frequency and increase your price to.......£

This should ensure my hourly rate is about £40 per hour and that will then in turn enable me to be home in time to watch Jeremy Kyle.
