Thinking of buying a new van
« on: September 06, 2014, 02:35:35 pm »
I am thinkin about buyin a Ford Custom, if I go for it I will have for sale,
2010 Ford transit 280 limited in silver, 31 000 miles full ford service history. Van will come with or without a pure freedom 650 litre 2 man system with the 9kw webasto hot water system, what do you reckon this would be worth? Van only and van with purefreedom system.

Doesn't help you, but you wont regret the transit custom. Great van :)

As much as possible ;) was thinking about £9250 for the van, No VAT, both together £12 500. Should have said the system is the RO system which comes with a booster pump. I would much rather take the system out the van and put it in the new van, but I am a bit like Frank Spencer when it comes to DIY :-[

I've been looking to change my van for the past 4 months now and I had a chat with the local Fiat dealer - good quality vans are very hard to find right now and some are actually going up in value.  ??? Good luck!

No I bought mine from a dealer. I can't remember the best one. Will try and find it. Basically you could price it up with extras
On line.

Thanks for that  ;), they are a good price as well, would depend on a delivery price to Scotland whether it was the cheaper of the two.

Get the model you want then negotiate. I could have saved about a £1000 but as it happens I got a cancelled order. So when it turned up with air con etc I was made up.
