Pressure washer 12lpm?

Anyone using a 12lpm Honda engine pressure washer to clean drives and patios in conjunction with a rotary cleaner with any success or is it not powerful enough? I'm adding on to my window cleaning business for the rainy days.

hi mate, it won't be powerful enough to run a rotary, ideally you want about 21 Lpm

yes, I've got 21 lpm Honda, my mate has a 15 lpm Honda and he really struggles with a rotary so just turbo nozzles everything

You can still use a fsc but you will need to change the size of the nozzles to make it spin properly. It wont have much cleaning power though so better off sticking with a turbo

200bar @ 15lpm will be ok for domestic work(till the power bug kicks in) , lookout for a genuine Honda gx with either a cat or interpump and gearbox and return to tank bypass. Then a whirlaway, vario lance, turbo lance,2x20m pressure hose, puddle sucker, buffer tank, brooms, shovel, wellies etc and then just like me a bigger van
It may be worth waiting till the cold weather comes as you might a full setup going cheap on eBay.

Flow rate is more important than pressure once you hit 3000psi - - I've had a few machines & the higher flow 3000psi one did more work than the 15lpm 4000psi one,..
That said - most domestic taps only kick out about 15lpm so even using a buffer tank you need to either supplement the feed (I'd fill my wfp tank with tap water & have it pumping in to the buffer tank as well as the hosepipe) or use a fire hydrant if you use a bigger machine.
