Inside and out!
« on: August 15, 2014, 02:06:31 pm »
Just started out on day one and have been offered inside and out on a restaurant, obviously I've been practising on pole system but just wondering what the best method for inside is and best tools for the job? Visiting later to price up 😳

Trad it mate
Msy be worth tradding the outside depending on the opening times of the resturaunt and how easy it is to get your pole to the windows with parking (windows and floor may not be dry by the time punters get there later in the year)

As above - trad it.  Get yourself a small applicator, a 6 inch squeegee and a microfibre for detailing and your sorted.

hi mark....as above or you could wet n dry.........that is 1 damp soapy scrim/microfibre and then use a dry scrim/microfibre, that would be for the Georgian windows, on the larger windows just squeege as normal.

price the same again for the insides if your doing all the same windows, although if there really dirty charge one & half to two times the outside.

also bear in mind also that you may want to charge double on the outside as well if there really dirty first cleans

Hi Mark, the best method as they are Georgian windows would be to use microfiber HPD (high performance detailing) cloths for the insides, just use one damp with water to detail the glass, then use a second one dry to polish off for the perfect streak free finish, send me an email to info@jskcleaning.ie if you are interested in having the finest quality glass detailing cloths available anywhere on the market.

Is it upper floor too?  If so, be mindful of those pointy railings if using a ladder and what could happen if a fall occurred.  I know they're a fair way from the window but I've known stranger things to happen.
Although I prefer to just read on here, I won't keep quiet if someone is risking getting spiked.
