hi dave i find the extremes go out of shape after a few months and they dont scrub snail trails off as well so i bin em.also the bristles on the outer edges just wear away so i cant scrub corners of the windows(and spiders eggs!) effectively.
price higher/work harder!

That's why I like the tecbuk.

About three passes over a snail trail and it's gone.

Yes it's more expensive, but I reckon I get through atleast an extra house per day because of the speed of it.

So say it does only last 6 months (more like 1 year really) how much extra has that brush earned you?

Think about it. :)

Tecbuk are great brushes, only held back by the owner and lack of service...

Darran

Spot on, it took me a while to order one for the same reason.

the sill brushes and standard SL brushes from gardiners are all lighter and all have their uses for f/s/g cleaning, conny roofs and solar panels.i find these brushes a lot more hard wearing albeit i dont use them as much as the extremes.

The SL brushes are heavier, the weights quotes on the website do not include the socket. I've weighed all my SL brushes, flocked, medium mixed and stiff, and the all weigh in at roughly 300g.

The cill brush weighs roughly the same when a socket is fitted, but will have less cleaning power and I find them too unstable when using a swivel.

To compare the weight of the brush to the quoted figures on Gardiners website, the aerial brush weighs roughly 225g without the socket.

£46  for a 250g brush lol,anymore joke?

It's expensive, but if it lasts twice as long as the Gardiners it's 1/4 cheaper.
Be interesting to see how it lasts...

I will let you know when it needs replacing, but I have got a 4 year old aerial brush that I put on for a month on so every now and again but end up taking it off because it's too heavy so it's probably had the equivalent of a years use and is still ok.

I have tried all the teckbuk and gardiner range .... All great brushes but I must say that I reckon the genie brush from the cleaning warehouse pips them all ....

How much does the genie brush weigh? I enquired and they told me it was 337g, but it looks the same as the cline brush which is 222g

According to the guy that makes them, you shouldn't need to rinse at all  :D, but yes you can rinse on with them.

Water Genie brush = 352g (with socket and jet hose)

Super-Lite = 270-290g - depending on exact model (with socket and jet hose)

SL Sill Brush = 256g (with socket and jet hose)
