I looked at pure freedom when shopping for my system, and I was quite impressed. Decent systems, no doubt. And good prices, customer service also seems good.
For me, they weren't quite as good as pure2o, (made by ionics) and since pure2o offered to match their price it was a no-brainer for me.
Something that did put me off slightly was that they advertise their systems as "crash tested" and sure enough if you look on YouTube you will see their crash test video. I was very disappointed to see that the way they edited it you never see inside the cab at the moment of impact. They filmed from the side view which would be ideal, but the video switches to a different view at the crucial moment.
You never see what the cab looks like after the crash, and that made my suspicious. Added to that the way the van does fly up in the air on impact, (compared to ionics video where the van doesn't fly up) and some weird wording at the beginning. something like "because the machine stayed put, the test was considered a success" . That to me is not the measure of success, it's whether or not the driver and passengers would have been injured. But no crash test dummy was used (-why not!?) and the odd editing just made me think that the inside of the cab was probably a carnage scene which is why they didn't show it.
Ionics made a big thing about their machine not just staying put, but also the machine frame being designed to absorb the energy on impact. IMO pure freedom is just made to stay put, but that seems to results in much greater damage to the cab of the van.
Again, just my opinion, and maybe I'm being picky, I just wish they'd upload the unedited videos up so we could see what happened in that cab.
