m&s, never ever targetted 'aged' customers, they very expertly targetted the customer who sought to buy ...............quality and value for money.
they lost out, to a generation who've been conditioned to buy on 'price' with little consideration for quality, or value, their sense of value, being, low cost.

Rob, we have different opinion on this matter, just let leave it like it is, people cannot agree all the time.

Ian
Another use for the Scottish pound, is to gain £4 extra in change when purchasing in some Southern shops................or so I'm told !
We had a girls football team competing ( and winning ) in a tournament in Wales a couple of years ago.
One of them, apparently, was given change of a fiver, when presenting a £1 note for a purchase.
Not one of our '' angels ''.........honest
