Work gone a bit quiet?
« on: July 12, 2014, 06:30:32 pm »
Is it just me or is anyone else finding that your not getting many calls from new customers?
Last week was slow for me but this coming week is dead.

Im the opposite. Been stacked out for the past 2 months but not got much next week. Been quoting a lot though so hopefully it all comes in at once.

It's slackened off a tad for me, which has been nice because like Matt I've barely been able to cope since April / May, booked up for around 2 weeks now but the calls are only 1 or 2 per day, which I can cope with... instead of the 5 plus I have been getting last Month! on top of that the van packed up, one of my machines decided to pack up, the pump run hot and spewed oil all over a white granite block driveway we were working on!!! (thank god for OT8!!! ) :)

I've never found ot8 to be much good. Prefer the Resiblock stuff.

I'm same as everyone else, the last 10 days have slackened off, but phone has rang like mad for last 2 days or so. Luckily I had some commercial quotes from a few weeks ago accepted during the last week so I should be OK.

I don't know Lee, I have never taken an oil stain out with ot8, after several different jobs. Although it was the SmartSeal version.

Just don't let the resiblock stuff dry. Gotta keep it wet!!
