I just sold a pressure washing pole on ebay.
The guy texted me last thing and said we was going to be 2 hours late so I had to go out.
I left the pole out for him and told him to post the money through the letter box- only £30.

He only stole it! Didnt leave the money and told me he left it where we found it. After some messaging he now has admitted to taking it and said he will paypal me the money if it works. Unbelievable.

He called from his work phone number though so I know his business name, facebook site, etc.

Scum. Tell him he has until 9am tomorrow morning to pay or you will be informing the boss of his company. His boss may or may not be interested but just have to hope that he is.

I would be calling old bill and reporting the theft, and then reporting it to ebay. and leaving feedback saying it..... The whole bloody ebay community would know that he is a thieving scumbag...

Report to eBay, tell him you've got his phone number and also report it to old bill as theft tell him that to I'm sure he will pay. I wouldn't care if it was a fiver still theft in my book, you had the decent thing to leave it out and trusted him what a scumbag.

Obviously you can trust people, most people, I mean you would hope that nearly everyone would do the right thing.
I'm not surprised though really, there are some scumbags out there.
