Anything better than Winsol 550

I've picked up a nursery clean for next Thursday and it's minging. Very old glass with limescale and lead stains all over it.
Always used winsol 550 for these types of cleans, but just checking there's not a better product on the market, making the initial clean easier.
Cheers

I find oxalic acid is really good stuff. Where do you buy your winsol 550? might give that a try as well as i do a few builders cleans.

Be careful on old glass with Winsol - I wrecked two panes with the stuff some years back. Don't bother with Unger rub out - it's total crap!

I use it mixed with unger window cleaning fluid, apply with an applicator on a long pole then clean as normal with wfp before it dries.
Not had the need for it too often but I've never had any problems using it like this.
As for suppliers, I can't remember. I've only ever bought 1x 5ltr tub and it's lasted me about 5 years.

Could you pass on any tips or info sunshine cleaning?
I've heard winsol 550 is great for staining but I've never been able to buy any,
But I just found it on cleaning spot! £20 for one litre but Ive just ordered some.
What kind of dilution rate have you been using and is it safe on wooden frames etc?
I'll do some testing of it when I get it but any help in advance would be much appreciated!

I only ever use it on old limescaled windows. The sort that are on old stone manor houses with leaded windows. The lead stains are built up over the years on these too.
I wouldn't use it on modern coated (self cleaning) windows as I think it would do irreversible damage.
I have used it on upvc and it's great at the grey out.

Can't think if I've used it on wooden framed windows. Would certainly do a rest area first
