i know its better to purify the water first however i have seen people running water to a DI filter from there van. Are they purifying with a DI on the go if so whats the flow rate? sorry im new to wfp and trying to work out the cheapest easiest option for me. i'm a trad cleaner looking to do wfp on a few jobs to start then move i slowly over time.
Thanks in advance

An r/o system on its own will rarely take the water down to zero, so usually they are used in conjunction with di. This can be either as part of the r/o system, or separate. If it is separate, it can be put in the van, which is what i do. You can get away with di only, which would typically be used in the van, but it is only cost effective if your tap water has a low ppm reading, i.e, below about 75ppm. Even then though, if you can use an r/o system, it will work out cheaper to run long term.

You first need to know what your tap Tds is in your area.
Buy from daqua a Tds meter (not a fake eBay one) and then take it from their.
