should i do anymore
« on: June 21, 2014, 03:50:25 pm »
on Thursday I cleaned a one off and left a bill for £15, when I looked at my online banking on Friday I saw that she had transfered £150 into my account, I called round later on Friday, as no one was in I left a note saying could she contact me as I had been over paid, I haven't heard any more from her.

should I try again or just wait and see what she does.

I wouldn't send the cheque just yet.
Try a couple more times to contact them first.
It'd be god to have the conversation. Customer is more likely to recommend you as an honest WC.
Also, a one off clean. Was it end of tenancy? Board up? Might want to contact the letting agent. If so, it gives a chance to speak to the lettors who will also know you're honest.

I would just put the money to one side and wait for a response, give it a couple of month then spend it  :-X

Ditto, assuming the bank is not able to send the excess money back to where it came from.

Maybe she's gone away for the weekend.
Get back in touch first thing Monday....she'll soon be in touch when she realises what she's done.

I agree with the sentiment.
But likening the OP to a thief isn't the same.
