Whats the pay load of the lwb?
I am torn between this and the new transit. (The bigger van just gives more options)

not big enough payload.. You have to think about it 1ltr fuel = 1kg likewise 1kg water =1kg..+ everything else... i won't have anything less than 1200kg

Surely that depends on what you need?. For a solo operator, i cant imagine why you would need more than that. I have a 500l tank in my old shape connect 230, but most days i could manage with 350l.

It is worth pointing out though, that if you need a small van with a 1000kg payload, there are much cheaper options out there than a new connect 240. The 2300 version of the current shape vauxhall combo has been around since 2012, has a 1000kg payoad, and can be had pre registered with delivery miles from under £8k. The fiat doblo is also available with the 1000kg payload, although confusingly, on the swb, it was an option as opposed to being a separate model like the vauxhall (2000 and 2300). As far as i am aware, all the lwb versions of both the fiat and vauxhall have the 1000kg payload.
