Anyone else had the email?

I reserve my comments, I'd rather see what others think first!!

I had a phone call from them.
Apparently, it's heavier than the previous aluminium one  :o.

I received a bizarre call from them earlier this week, very awkward.

B "Hi it's Conor from Brodex, I'm calling to see how you are getting on with the pole you purchased from us recently"

Me "that was 3 years ago and I sold it on so don't use Brodex poles anymore"

B "oh that's good to know....(long awkward pause)....well do you mind if I call you back in 6 months time to see how you are liking our equipment then?"

Me "I still won't have any of your equipment in 6 months time so there won't be much to discuss, will there?"

Was a very strange phone call. I guess the poor lad was reading from a script and it got very awkward when the conversation moved off his script.
"....and it's lend me ten pounds, I'll buy you a drink, and mother wake me early in the morning."

If John wants to send me one out and I'll be happy to try it out for the week and if I like it I'll buy it from them.. They seem confident that they have turned a corner but I like to try before I buy.
If it's lighter than the old poles what's the actual weight then??
