How to remove hardened bird poo
« on: June 17, 2014, 10:35:28 pm »
Hi,
How do you remove hardened bird poo off 2 and 3 stories when using wfp.   Ive tried virosol and e cover but no use. Any ideas.

Cheers,
Steve

Soak it first.
Clean the rest, come back then scrub, scrub and scrub some more.

and / or turn your brush so the edge of the stock can be used to scrape the offending object

I scratched a window once doing this Bob.
Never again. Just in case.

these scrapers are excellent.only a couple of quid  plus the scrubbing pad which works very well on baked on bird muck. :)
price higher/work harder!

Unfortunately the Gardiners scraper doesn't work when a Aqua Dapter is fitted!

If you've got a gardiners brush then loosen the two screws on the stock and insert an old credit card. Goes without saying to tighten the screws back up once its in  ;D

just get your ladders out, why mess about, if its been there all month you will waste water and time.  2 minutes up ladders, scraper off carefully.
not worth scraping your customers glass, not very nice for them  noticing that scraped glass,   they may kill you.

"and / or turn your brush so the edge of the stock can be used to scrape the offending object"

Super glue a strip of velcro to the edge. avoids scratching issues and works.
