Also a good tip is to keep your pole hose as short as possible.  I have it so that when my pole is extended and I'm reaching up with it, the pole hose is just resting on the ground and no longer.

You can get the taps from cleaning spot, click on fittings and accessories, then metal fittings and scroll about halfway down the page, there is a choice. But beware of their 'holsters' they are not up to much!

Taps in holsters are brilliant - used 'em for years.

I use a radio controlled thing.  Press one button to start the pump, a different button to stop it.

Great piece of kit. Came with the system.

I use the same. Knock spots off any type of tap.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I don't put the tap next to my leg, I put the hose in the holster and the tap sits about a foot or so in front of
me.
If it happens to leak then no wet leg.

Still have to bend down to pick it up? To kink it

No, I keep my hose external to the pole, so anywhere handy will kink it.  Not all pole hose kinks nicely though.

And if it's short, when the pole's extended, it's easy to pull up, grab the main hose and move.

The only thing you get using a holster is a wet leg. Get into the 21st century and purchase an Aqua Dapter.
