just checked my 1000L tank and the TDS is reading 44

had to pump it all out and now fill it up again......!!!!!!

well ped offffffff,  I have about 300L in the van and it on 003 so at least I can work tomorrow for the whole day.

Now I have to run the pump for the next 2 days to fill it up (200GPD system)

What static setup do you have? Is it rain water filled?

Surely it's your resin that needs changed and just filling back up will mean your going to get 44tds and higher again?

surly you could of just changed your resin or put a anthor one in line that would of dropped it down ?? saving time ?

the resin is fine,  i have not changed it and its reading 003 so I think its something else.

Dodgy Tds reader that needs re calibrating?

If your tesin is fine then surely your Tds should be 000. You say it's 003 in your van. tank?

Run the 44ppm water through a DI with new resin in it and then its sorted.

Its coming out the outlet into the tank as 002 and its reading 12 in the tank at the moment but its only half full and there was about 50-100L still in there still at 44. 

I wonder if its algae or just the vast amount of rainwater.

Why would rain water have an effect??

Your ro is fed from your main water feed.

Sounds like contamination in your tank. Fill it up, pour bleach in. Leave over night, then rinse with pure a few times.

Yeah get a one litre bottle.

That should kill any nasties in your tank. Is it in open sunlight or in a garage?

If it's out in the sun, then paint it black to stop algae.
