£135 per week!
« on: May 30, 2014, 12:35:19 pm »
Just done my tax return. I can only work 3 days a week due to family commitments, elderly mother, young son etc. After all expenses are taken off and the expected tax bill I get £135 per week. Its a good job I love the job!
Big expenses year  new pole, backpack etc.and big mileage.

Just over £40 a day profit?

Ouch........

You'd be better stacking shelves in aldis. They pay £9 an hour.

With dependents and working over 24 hours and if your renting you are entitled to a good lump of  benefits cash to top you up if that is your earnings
claim what you are entitled to
housing benefit
working tax credits
child tax credits
council tax reduction
plus other stuff

Partner stayed working full time when our little boy was born, so it takes us well out of benefits.  My mate and i both took voluntary redundancy five years ago. I work, he dosent and he gets all the benefits going. Its not as bad as it sounds! At 63 i have a small works pension and the quoted weekly figure is after final accounts have been done. I need to cut mileage and equipment and supplies costs. My turnover figure is quite healthy. Its a great life.

Why is that????

If benefits are available and legally entitled, why the hell should people not get them?
especially if they have worked in this country and paid into the system all their life..

Time to climb down off your high horse, and pick on the people that scam the country, not those that deserve some help.

Thanks Hector. Very kind offer. All of my work is 3,4 and 5 bedroom army houses. Straight up with no access problems or conservatories. Easy work. I do some three storey town houses but the slx 25 does it fine. Cash wise, I have done a business plan for the next year which will take me up a rung or three. All the best mate.

earning anything must be better than having to sign on,    combat do you have a water tank fitted in your estate,   if you do send me some pics of your setup to
ts1cleaning@gmail.com

going to look at a citroen despatch tues.    all spec look good.  cars from thurso.    belts and water pump all changed full service and receipts.

decided to go for the older type to get started off , pumps+ controllers will all be new to me.
like you been using backpak for the last 14 months , ford estate,     it seems to do me.      i think i will still prefer to use the backpack tho.
less hassle.
but the thought of having 350litres of water in rear of van will be great.
