Thieving Bar Stewards
« on: May 28, 2014, 09:27:21 am »
Had a set of ladders stolen from one of my vans over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Van was parked on one of my guys driveways in Canvey Island ,Essex.
They cut the padlocks off and left the ladder clamps on the roof.
Be warned lock them up !!!
As I am ex-plod I presumed someone would knock a few doors and fingerprint
ladder clamps, but no gave him reference number and wrote the job off.
How do we ever solve a crime these days?
Good job I am on holiday with my family at the mo

The police are a joke! 3 consecutive years in a row our vehicles got keyd and mirrors kicked off... On the 3 time in a row we said to the police are you going to finger print? He replied are you joking? We only do that for violent crimes were people are in danger.
I then said well we had a prank called off a with held number threatening to come back and do it again, so you can trace that cant you? "No sir we only trace numbers when its a serious case"

So my dad replied ok leave our house and dont log this crime we will have it sorted ourselfs" and the copper replied " thats the best way" so i said yeh because you will actually have someone to arrest!!
