Sounds like bad battery or not charging

Not had that problem with my gardiners one, but my old wcw one was like that from new. It was simply just one of the wire connections had slipped off. Its quite easy to take apart and rectify the problem.

Oh dear, have you also checked no wires are damaged ? failing that I do not really know what to suggest, looks like you've just been unlucky TWICE  :-[

does anything at all happen when you switch it on ? e.g. the led battery level lights light up ? if they do  I would suspect a knackered pump or pressure switch, if they dont then I would suspect battery.
Send it back  :'(

Best to stick it on charge every two weeks daz. Every week ideally if your not a heavy user.bit keeps the battery in decent condition. :)

Is the pump running at all? Or is it simply dead when you switch it on?

Battery is fully charged !
Led lights light up to say its fully charged but its as if the pump has died nothing at all coming from it .
I use it daily on stand alone houses saves pulling the reel out and charge it when it starts to bleep when the battery is running low .

would suggest to me then that it is a pump problem, have not had my gardiners backpack apart but presume it to have a pressure switch.
Process of ilimination would be to bypass the pressure switch and see if the pump works. It must be under warranty though ? may void it if you started to tinker with it, annoying as it is I'd send it back.

Last one that broke alex said it was fine to take apart as it wouldnt effect warranty etc . Just annoyed at being without it while it goes back so i thought id see if anyone else has had the same problems as me before im without it .

Sounds like a connection has failed somewhere on the unit.

A quick way of checking the battery and the pump is to connect the pump plug directly into the battery plug. Worth trying to eliminate the two main components first.

It is also worth pushing the two wires on the each end if the fuse holder together in case of a poor connection inside the fuse holder.

Of course you can contact our Customer Service team on the usual number for further assistance.
