I can't justify fixing my van that has died as i am working with my dad in his and its working out ok. Not as productive as two separate vans but hey ho.

So the van its self.

66,666 miles With a snapped chain on engine. Confirmed needs a new engine. Head and bottom end are smashed to pieces.

One owner before me.

Excellent condition.

Window cleaning graphics (bubbles etc)

Full window cleaning system inside. Cage bolted into floor (welded) 350 upgright, shurflow, analogue controller ETC

Full floor protection (rear matt) and under that painted with protecta cote.

Fun things like

Automatic reverse camera.

Outside van ports

Split charge with 2 week old leisure battery and built in maintenance battery charger

External charge socket.

Prob loads of other stuff. Would only need poles to make it a work van ow and an engine lol

Cant decided to sell as it is to a limited market OR strip it down and sell as window cleaning setup and a knackered van

Well I suppose the first bit would be to ask what the market value is of the van and how much to get a new engine installed - not that I'm in the market for it.

a bit small for me mate, the vans them selves arnt expensive, if however its the 1.7 version yall get an engine for about 250 and someone will fit it for around a grand, depending on the age etc that might be your best option because you'll know the vans right then rather than buying a new with different problems. i think someone would give you £500 for it, not a lot of money if you ask me

Unfortunately, fancy graphics are not worth a bean on a vehicle with no engine ? Fun things like reversing cameras may not be everyone's taste and on a combo hardly required.

Can you not get a second hand engine and friendly mechanic to fit it ?

What's the going rate for salvage?  £300
your tank and bits would bring in around the same, just depends on age,quality, and demand at the time of sale.

But get that engine sorted and it's worth maybe £3k + (you didn't give age but if only covered 60 odd k must be decent age (8 yrs or less))

I'd get it fixed too.
We had an engine replaced on a 51 Relay, came to about £650 fitted.
Even if you get it repaired and sell it on. You'll get more back than you spend.

Have a go at taking the engine out. You can't do any harm.

It's a 2006 van. It's a cdti 1.3 engine.

Garages have quoted close to £1500 to sort it out.

I'm not interested in fixing it. Just wondering about striping or selling as it is.

Looks like the van dead is worth between £500 - £1000

Then i have all the equipment inside, easily worth £500. The liquid logic stuff was expensive and the battery was £110 and its 2 weeks old.

Awesome.

Will lock this down as don't want people offering to buy it for £11
