O and don't forget to use a new scraper blade lol !!!!
Don't think you need white spirits just a scraper with a new blade or you will scratch the glass with a used blade be careful

Never tried oil. Lighter fluid works though.

Did a first clean on an office today, 3 of the higher windows had glue residue on them from what looked like where stickers had been. All I had in the van was a bottle of jif so whacked a load on the brush, scrubbed hard and it actually worked pretty good, removed most of the gluey marks, owners were well pleased.

Cif is also very good for removing those window frame stickers that have been left on too long!

Oil flow never used it on glue, but its good for getting off fat from barbecues .

Did a first clean a couple of weeks ago, has had a large estate agent banner glued to window. A valeter friend gave me some Tar X which got rid of the glue really easily, great stuff

Just use a magic eraser pad damp with water and scrub vigorously until adhesive residue is gone, don't have to worry about scratches from blade, this method is really effective for solving these sticky problems.
