vivaro, comfort, reliability, first one did over 200,000 Kilometers never left me down, on my second and no problems ever, have driven so many different makes of vans over the years, now will stick with best overall van just my opinion.

I'd recommend the Citroen Dispatch. But that now seems weak after all the Vivaro replies! I heard so many horror stories about the vivaro and thus I went for the Dispatch .

just bought a 58 plate transit from a commercial garage in Birmingham, they do all vans except for vivaro, traffic etc because of reliability issues , I must admit tho you do hear good and bad when you discuss it on here

Very good time to buy the vivaro "shape new" my local one was knocking out em out out cheap

http://www.renault.co.uk/vans/model/trafic/traficpanelvan/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Renault_Trafic_Misspells_Van_Main_&utm_term=renault%20traffic&ORIGIN=cpc&CAMPAIGN=google_Renault_Trafic_Misspells_Van_Main&gclid=CLDf-7f4tL4CFcbKtAodVHwA7Q

personally i would try and get these 330 swb transits doing the rounds 8/9k elec everything, low mileage, massive payload and all pretty much mint. Burnt tree purchased back the vans they supplied. All 200 of them, they are all low mileage and council vehicles.

With council vehicles usually the same crew drive them!

Typical, I just sold a t330 100bhp rwd swb transit with med roof. I bought it new in 2011 and it had done 13,800 miles. It still looked like it did the day I picked it up. I sold it to fords for a cheap price for a quick sale. New this van listed at just under £28,000.

The vivaro, and the trafic are the same van, both have the renault engine.    I would recommend the trafic sl29 as it has a good payload ( 1200kg) easily fits a 650 water tank, has lots of power, and drives as good as a car.

What do you think is the best buy for our trade? years 2009-2011

Why just those 3 choices?. What wrong with the nissan primastar, which is the same as the vivaro and trafic anyway?.
And what about the citroen relay, fiat ducato, and peugeot boxer?, not to mention those 3's little brothers, the dispatch, scudo and expert, all of which can be had with a 1200kg payload. You dont mention any particulars, such as (gulp) tank size, whether it is a 1 or 2 person setup, whether you are looking for a swb or lwb, etc.

Because they're the three vans I have narrowed down my search to.   I am just looking to see what issues if any, people have had with them, or which vans of the three people rate if they've experienced any of them. (not particularly connected to set up but more to reliability and ease to maintain)

I have kept Nissan and Fiat out of my list because of my own issues with these makes through friends comments whist conducting my own research.  Hope this helps explain a bit more. Don't get me wrong, I am not putting down other makes, I'm sure they're  fine.  But I have to narrow my final search down to three.   Anyway, which van do you rate out of all the ones you have mentioned Simon?
