Is their anyone on here who is not based in the North West who carries out sports hall sanding/sealing ( Granwood especially) and even better someone with knowledge on court marking ie badminton ect. I have Granwood experience but I'm looking to pick someone's brains on a few things.

you may want to use, in stead of sand paper the 50/100/200 polymer tools which Terry can offer you!

Actually although it is a rather opportunistic post by our Dutch friend he might have a point. Granwood is particularly nasty to sand in the traditional way and my gut feeling is that Diamabrush could be a better solution all round. Just another possibility that someone needs to test... ah oh I think I see where this is heading, shame I don't have any Granwood floors on the horizon... real shame!

I did a a gran wood job at ester and I have another one next week. I have been quoted £210 per court for another job I priced up.

When is your next one?

I could send you the Diamabrush tooling to trial Renes theory.

Would be interesting to see how it performs on this.
My main concern would be its porosity once the initial lacquer layer is removed.
A scrubber dryer would possibly reduce water ingress.
Not sure on tool life if used dry.

Perhaps Rene can confirm if anyone has used Poly tools dry for any applications?

Forgot to ask - If you or someone else can answer this - If the Granwood floor needs court markings ie badminton, are the court markings laid in between seal coats or at the very end. I have seen videos where they put the court markings down in between coats!

In between coats locks the lines in and makes them last longer, I wouldn't do it any other way.
