Nat, I hope you don't mind me asking for some advice as you seem to be the man when it comes to websites.
I've built my own website on Wix, I only spent a couple of hours on it so it's fairly basic but by following the SEO tutorial the site is ranking very well for a lot of my target areas.
I just wondered if you could give me any pointers as to how to make the site look more professional, obviously better pics which I will be doing but any other tricks?
Thanks

For a Wix site that doesn't loo half bad mate!

My first impression though is that the background colour doesn't say "Cleaning service" - I'd go for a light blue or green with a darker shade of the same colour in the menu bar.

I'd remove your e-mail addy from the header & stick t contact forms, otherwise its only a matter of time & decent rankings before you get drowned in spam.

I'd add more pages - google loves content & the more you have the better,.. a separate home page, window cleaning page, conny cleaning page, gallery, contact, privacy policy etc etc.

Its UK law now that you need a cookie policy or cookie pop-up - - does wix let you do this easily?

Your page titles are nearly identical - change them round and add in some keywords!

The "Big Red Directory" and "Mister What" buttons on the homepage look a bit tacky (my personal opinion) - I'd loose them.

The whole site isn't responsive for smaller screens (Phones/tablets etc) does wix let you use responsive designs? Over 50% of all browsing is now done via mobile devices, so you need your site to look good on small screens too!

The twitter link in the page footer takes you to the wix twitter page - might want to fix that. ;)

Wix negatively affects google rankings simply by being Wix,.. Google knows that the majority of people using it aren't professionals, so your site could probably achieve even better Google exposure elsewhere,.. I'd advise moving away from Wix entirely in the long run,...

Thanks very much for the pointers Nat.
Yes I agree that it looks too dark, this is something I was going to change.
You're probably right about the email aswell as I get a fair few spam emails coming through.
There are a few other pages but they're work in progress.
Will definitely consider going for a professional website but to be honest this one is pulling in a few jobs so see how it goes.
Thanks again mate.
